Requirements
Independent contractor position
Applicant understands that this is an independent contractor position, not an offer of employment.
Applicant understands and agrees that they are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, including income tax, FICA, and unemployment tax. The company will not withhold any taxes from payments made.
Applicant understands that as an independent contractor, they are not eligible for any employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, or workers' compensation. Furthermore, they will be responsible for their own business-related expenses.
Applicant understands that the company will not supervise or control the manner and means by which the services are performed, and that the independent contractor will be in full control of their own schedule, work location, and methods.
Applicant understands that the contract for services is for a specified term or project, and either party may terminate the agreement at any time, with or without cause, subject to the terms of the final independent contractor agreement.
