The Challenge
Family Care Medical Group engaged Papyrus as Owner's Representative to resolve an issue restricting their growth. Their existing facilities were too small to meet the needs of Central New York's growing population and their expanding practice. They needed a larger, custom-built solution, and they wanted to own their own real estate.
Client Requirements
- Located on the West Side of Syracuse
- No fewer than 25 exam rooms
- Physician offices for no fewer than 15
- Waiting area for 25 patients
- Staff offices, administration, kitchen and training space for 30
- Parking for all staff and patients on one site
- A welcoming feel for patients, staff and new physicians seeking more modern facilities
Our Role
We researched the market and identified both on- and off-market opportunities, then directly engaged a property owner to secure an off-market acquisition. Acting as the owner's representative, we worked directly with attorneys, architects, engineers, general contractors and the municipality to deliver a custom-built space to suit their needs.
