Scott Dumas

Originally from Massachusetts, Scott received his degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Boston. Following a 7 year wall street stint with Fidelity Investments in NYC and experiencing the attacks of September 11th, he and his wife chose Central New York for its culture, scenery, affordable real estate and proximity to Dinosaur Barbeque.

Following his move, he changed careers and spent 11 years working with The Pyramid Management Group with experiences in development, finance, leasing/sales and property management. Following Pyramid, he worked with WS Development of Chestnut Hill, Ma. with a focus on high-end lifestyle centers throughout the New England markets.

Scott had spent nearly 20 years with big companies in real estate, accounting & finance, being part of hundreds of real estate transactions and managing/developing large retail properties. In 2020 he decided to go on his own. Seeing an opportunity in the Business Brokerage market, he advanced his knowledge and acquired the tools necessary to serve a drastically underserved market of Mergers & Acquisitions throughout Central New York. He now works as a licensed commercial broker with functions of real estate brokerage, development, property management and business brokerage. His client focus is less "deal-driven" but more on the long-game enjoying lasting client relationship.

Business Brokerage transactions completed thru Papyrus Business Solutions. Real Estate Development & some sale side transactions completed through Papyrus Real Estate Solutions(Papyrus RES, LLC).

I believe the most important aspect of our business is our network, which is made-up-of long-lasting relationships best starting with a firm handshake!

Scott now lives in the Village of Fayetteville with his wife, 2 daughters and a dog(Cheeto) where he volunteers on his local Planning Board.
